Article 2.1 How to Create a Vendor Account

Becoming a VendRush vendor allows you to list your products and receive orders from customers in your area. Requirements Before You Start - A valid business (formal or informal food stalls, home kitchens, retail shops all qualify) - A Nigerian bank account for receiving payouts - Your CAC registration number (optional but speeds up approval) - Clear photos of your products or store front Step-by-Step Registration 1. Download the VendRush Vendor App 2. Tap Register as a Vendor 3. Enter your phone number and verify with OTP 4. Fill in your Business Information: - Business name - Business type (Food & Restaurant / Grocery / Pharmacy / General Store) - Business address - Opening and closing hours 5. Upload a store profile photo or logo 6. Enter your bank account details for payouts 7. Submit your application What Happens After Submission? Your application goes to the VendRush team for review. This typically takes 1–2 business days. You will receive an SMS and email notification once your account is: - Approved: your store goes live immediately - Rejected: with a reason, and you can reapply after fixing the issue Account Statuses | Status | Meaning | | ------------- | --------------------------------------------- | | Pending | Under review by VendRush team | | Approved | Store is live and visible to customers | | Suspended | Account temporarily disabled contact support |

Article 2.2 How to Add Products to Your Store

Once your vendor account is approved, you can start adding products for customers to order. Adding a Product 1. Open the VendRush Vendor App 2. Tap Products in the bottom navigation 3. Tap the + Add Product button 4. Fill in the product details: - Product Name: (e.g., "Jollof Rice Large") - Description: describe what's included - Price: in Nigerian Naira (₦) - Category: assign to the right category - Availability: toggle on/off to show/hide the product 5. Upload a clear, well-lit photo of the product 6. Tap Save Tips for Better Sales - Use real photos of your actual food/products not stock images - Write clear descriptions that mention portion size, ingredients, or variations - Keep prices competitive with other vendors in your area - Mark items as unavailable (not delete them) when they run out Managing Existing Products - Edit: Tap a product → Edit details → Save - Toggle availability: Tap the toggle switch next to a product to instantly show or hide it - Delete: Swipe left on a product → Delete (use with caution deleting removes all sales history)

Article 2.3 How Vendor Payouts Work

VendRush pays vendors for completed orders, minus the platform commission. Payout Structure | Item | Details | | ------------------- | ----------------------------------------------- | | Commission rate | Set per vendor by VendRush (typically 10–20%) | | Your earnings | Order total minus commission | | Payout schedule | Processed within 2–5 business days | | Payout method | Direct bank transfer to your registered account | Example Calculation - Customer pays: ₦5,000 - VendRush commission (15%): ₦750 - You receive: ₦4,250 How to View Your Earnings 1. Open the Vendor App 2. Tap Earnings or Wallet in the menu 3. View your: - Total earnings (all time) - Pending payouts - Completed payouts - Transaction history When Will I Get Paid? Payouts are processed by the VendRush finance team and credited to your bank account within 2–5 working days of the payout period. If your payout is delayed beyond this, contact support@vendrush.com with your vendor ID and the payout date.
