Guide for VendRush delivery riders getting started, accepting orders, and getting paid.
Article 5.1 How to Register as a Rider
Joining VendRush as a rider is free and open to anyone with a valid means of transport. Requirements - A smartphone (Android 8.0+ or iOS 13.0+) - A valid means of transport (motorcycle, bicycle, or car) - Valid Nigerian ID (National ID, Driver's Licence, Voter's Card, or International Passport) - A Nigerian bank account for receiving earnings Registration Steps 1. Download the VendRush Rider App 2. Tap Register as a Rider 3. Enter your phone number and verify with OTP 4. Fill in your personal details: - Full name - Date of birth - Home address 5. Upload your ID document (clear photo of front and back) 6. Enter your vehicle type and (optionally) registration number 7. Enter your bank account details for payouts 8. Submit your application Approval Timeline Rider applications are reviewed within 24–48 hours. You will be notified via SMS and in-app notification. Once approved, you can start accepting deliveries immediately.
Article 5.2 How to Accept and Complete a Delivery
Going Online 1. Open the VendRush Rider App 2. Tap the Go Online toggle at the top 3. You are now visible to the dispatch system and will receive delivery requests Receiving a Delivery Request When an order is assigned to you: - Your phone will vibrate and play an alert sound - You'll see: - Pickup location (vendor name and address) - Drop-off location (customer address) - Estimated earnings for the trip - Distance to vendor You have 30 seconds to accept or decline. If you don't respond, the request is automatically passed to another rider. Completing the Delivery 1. Accept the request 2. Navigate to the vendor's location using the in-app map 3. Arrive and confirm pickup: tap "I've Arrived at Vendor" 4. Collect the order from the vendor 5. Tap "Order Picked Up" 6. Navigate to the customer's address 7. Deliver the order to the customer 8. Tap "Delivered" your earnings for that trip are credited If You Can't Find the Customer 1. Call the customer using the masked number in the app 2. If no answer after 2 attempts, tap "Customer Unreachable" 3. Follow the in-app instructions do not leave the order unattended
Article 5.3 How Rider Earnings Work
How You Earn You earn a delivery fee per trip based on: - Distance from vendor to customer - Current pricing rules set by VendRush - Any surge pricing during peak hours Your earnings are shown for each trip before you accept it, so you always know what you'll make. Viewing Your Earnings 1. Open the VendRush Rider App 2. Tap Earnings in the menu 3. View: - Today's earnings - This week's earnings - Total earnings (all time) - Individual trip breakdown Payout Schedule Earnings accumulate in your rider wallet and are paid out to your bank account based on the payout schedule: - Payouts are processed every weekday - Minimum payout threshold: ₦1,000 - Bank credit arrives within 1–3 business days Tips to Maximise Earnings - Stay online during lunch hours (12pm–2pm) and dinner hours (6pm–9pm) these are peak order times - Position yourself near busy commercial areas with multiple vendors - Maintain a high acceptance rate to be prioritised by the dispatch system
